This is Vlad, the least scary vampire you will ever meet. Yes, he is a vampire, that is what he thinks this costume is. He was so excited to. be a vampire that I just didn't correct him. Like all good bats, excuse me, vampires, he sleeps most of the day but then he also sleeps most of the night. You can say his favorite activity is sleeping. He thinks every day is Halloween and he keeps asking if today we are trick or treating. He won't take the costume off. Halloween can't come soon enough.

Vlad's skin is Heavy Weight Laib Yala in a red brown color. His body is made with cotton jersey. His body is filled with clean carded wool to make it floppy. His head is made in the traditional Waldorf style with some needle felting to make it firmer. The head is wobbly but not completely floppy. His arms has been sewn to his torso with a sewing machine so they are pretty sturdy but also very floppy. His legs have been hand sewn three times to his torso to make them sturdy but also floppy. His sleeping eyes have been hand embroidered with cotton DMC thread. His hair is made with a mohair mix yarn and crocheted into a wig cap that then was hand sewn to his head. This style of hair cannot be brushed. He wears wool felt bat wings, a hand crocheted bat hat, and booties. All accessories are detachable. He will travel with his bat lovie.

Vlad is not a toy suitable for children under 3 years of age. Even though he’s made pretty sturdy the age recommendation for this doll and his accessories is 5 years and over. If you get him for a smaller child I would recommend you remove, the hat, wings, and booties.
