Basil- 9.5 inch Waldorf Baby Doll

This is Basil my garden lover baby girl. This little one loves getting her hands dirty in the soil and help at the garden. She's very gentle with the seeds and she even sprinkles water very softly over them. She definitely has a green thumb and she's a very helpful baby to have around.

Basil's skin is Heavy Weight Laib Yala in Dark Brown color. Her torso is made with a cotton jersey fabric. Her body is filled with clean carded wool. Her head is made in the traditional Waldorf style with some needle felting to make it firmer. The head is wobbly. Her arms and legs have been hand sewn to her torso three times for extra strength. His eyes have been hand embroidered with cotton DMC thread. Her hair is a hand crocheted black cotton yarn wig, that then was hand sewn to her head. This style of hair can only be styled with your fingers. She wears a handmade bonnet, handmade booties, and a ruffled collar. Only the booties and bonnet are detachable. She will travel with her baby elf.

Basil is not a toy suitable for children under 3 years of age. Even though she’s made pretty sturdy the age recommendation for this doll and his accessories is 5 years and over. If you get her for a smaller child I would recommend you remove, the hat and booties as they contain choking hazards and long ties.
