Jamila- 8 inch Waldorf Doll

This doll ships from Mexico through standard mail with tracking. It takes a couple of days to get the doll ready for shipping. If shipping ends up being less, I will refund the extra charges.

Baby Jamila was the second prototype for the Baby Olivia Pattern. This is a simple version but absolutely adorable Waldorf Doll. Made entirely of natural materials.

Jamila's skin is De Witte Engle fabric in a dark brown color. This doll is filled with clean carded wool. The head is made in the simplest Waldorf doll style. Body is one piece and head has been securely sewn to the body. Jamila's eyes are made with wool felt that has been hand sewn tot he face, and minimal embroidery. Her hair is made with cotton yarn and has been hand stitched to her head.

Jamila is a very active baby girl. She loves music and singing. She loves butterflies and flowers very much.

Jamila will go home with the handmade clothes and accessories you see in the photos. They are all made by me:

Wool felt diaper
Cotton romper
Socks made with repurposed baby socks
Cotton bonnet
Cotton and felt leaf shaped wings
Cloth teddy bear (not shown in the photos)

Jamila is suitable for children 6 years and up, that do not mouth their toys anymore. Even though it's made pretty sturdy and the doll itself is ok for kids, the clothes and accessories include buttons, ribbons, snaps, and small parts that can turn into choking hazards.
