Day- 3 inch Waldorf inspired Doll
If you live in the US please read carefully. This doll can only be sent through a Private courier because the Mexican post is not taking packages to the US. The cheapest I could find was DHL. So that is the reason why shipping to the US is so expensive. Because of new tariff rules in the US you will probably need to pay taxes when the doll arrives to you. This is completely out of my control.

This doll ships from Mexico through standard mail with tracking. It takes a couple of days to get the doll ready for shipping. If shipping ends up being less, I will refund the extra charges.
Baby Day is a Diminuto . Diminutos are little people that live among humans. They borrow things we don't use to live. They think we don't notice and sometimes we don't, other times we just think we lost them. Almost every house has Diminutos living in it. They're just really good at hiding and avoiding us. However, when they feel we have spotted them, they take everything they can with them and hurry out to find a new home. You can learn more about them if you watch the movie "Arriety". Because this is a baby, it could have been left behind or her parents may have not survived.
Day's skin is Heavy Weight Laib Yala in a red brown color. This doll is filled with clean carded wool. The head is made in the traditional Waldorf style with some needle felting to make it firmer. This doll is more wobbly than floppy because of her tiny size. Body is one piece and head has been securely sewn to the body. Day's eyes have been hand embroidered with cotton DMC thread. Her hair is hand crocheted with brown wild brushable mohair and hand stitched to her head.
Day will go home with the handmade clothes and accessories you see in the photos. They are all made with a rustic look to look like the fairies made them:

Day is not a toy suitable for small children. Even though it's made pretty sturdy the size and details make this baby and her accessories a choking hazard.
