Clavel is a sweet flower baby. She's a happy one and as long as she has 4 to 6 hours of sun a day and has some water, she's a happy baby. Clavel loves sunny days, the sound of birds singing, and insects, especially butterflies, she thinks she looks like one. But aren't butterflies just really flying flowers? That's what she thinks anyways. She's ready to go live with a loving family where she can express all the love she has to give.

Clavel is 5 inches tall not counting the flower and 6 inches tall counting the flower. Clavel's skin is Light Weight Laib Yala in dark brown color. The torso and arms are made with hand dyed organic cotton interlock. This doll is filled with clean carded wool. The head is made in the traditional Waldorf style. This doll is does not have a floppy head like my other dolls. Body and legs are one piece and legs can be moved front and back. Arms are leaf shaped and are had securely hand sewn to the torso. Clavel's happy eyes have been hand embroidered with cotton DMC thread. Her hair is a hand crocheted flower hand sewn to her head. She also wears a hand crocheted green collar. Her feet are hand crocheted spirals to look like roots. She has a cute belly button and soft sculpted butt cheeks. Nothing on this baby is detachable. She will travel with her little butterfly friend.

Clavel is not a toy suitable for children under 5 years. Even though it's made pretty sturdy the crocheted details makes this doll non suitable for children that may still mouth their toys.
