Let me introduce you to Blitzen. Blitzen is an energetic baby girl that cannot wait for Christmas. Of course she wants to see Santa but her favorite thing about this holiday season are Christmas cookies. She can't get enough of them. I certainly have to keep an eye on her to make sure she eats some food too. So if you are thinking about giving a home to this sweet baby, the way to her heart are cookies.

Blitzen's skin is Heavy Weight Laib Yala in a dark brown color. Her body is made with a repurposed, recycled wool sweater . Her body is filled with clean carded wool. Her head is made in the traditional Waldorf style with some needle felting to make it firmer. The head is wobbly. Her arms and legs have been hand sewn three times to her torso to make them sturdy but also floppy. Her eyes have been hand embroidered with cotton DMC thread. Her hair is a hand crocheted with loop stitch cotton wig cap that then was hand sewn to her head. This style of hair can be styled with fingers. She wears a hand crocheted bonnet with ears and antlers, hand crocheted matching booties, and a hand crocheted brushable mohair collar. All accessories are detachable. She will travel with her baby elf.

Blitzen is not a toy suitable for children under 3 years of age. Even though she’s made pretty sturdy the age recommendation for this doll and his accessories is 5 years and over. If you get her for a smaller child I would recommend you remove, the hat, collar, and booties.
